Crosby enjoys life to the fullest. He
learned early in life the value of keeping cool by walking
into the first step of our swimming pool. Since then the
pool is a regular visiting place especially after running
around the backyard.
Crosby loves to play in the dirt as a
puppy and now enjoys backpacking in the Trinity Alps toward
his 120+ miles hike. He completed 80 miles toward his
Working Pack Dog Excellent (WPDX) under challenging trail
conditions due to many downed trees, large areas of snow
that covered hidden debris and wading through lush
vegetation.
While hiking in the Regional
Redwood Park he completed his basic 40 mile backpacking
title Working Pack Dog title (WPD) and now is concentration
on his agility, conformation and obedience training |
